A sequel to a story about the settlement of the American West. It follows the further adventures of the characters first introduced in Horizon: An American Saga. The film was originally scheduled for release on August 16, 2024. However, after the commercial failure of Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1 (2024), New Line Cinema removed the sequel from its original release date and postponed it indefinitely. Chapter 2 premiered at the 81st Venice International Film Festival on September 7, 2024, with its premiere date uncertain. Follow Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1 (2024). I loved this from start to finish. I can’t believe the bad reviews and ratings. I’m a huge fan of westerns and this is quality from start to finish. Keep in mind that it’s part of a longer story, Part 1 is all about introducing the main characters. Three hours flew by, and now I really want to see Chapter 2 as soon as possible. I really hope all the episodes are made and released because I think people will see the whole thing as a masterpiece. Great cinematography, great acting, brutal scenes that are definitely realistic. I gave this a 9 out of 10 only because sometimes the story doesn’t flow as well as it could. But loved it.
