Cobb), and good scuffling actress (Evelyn Keyes) whoever aunt (Nina Foch) did at the local casino and dated good corrupt detective (Jim Bannon). Cobb, just like the a police inspector, along with in the get . While the spot follows a common development, the brand new characterizations was new while the performances adequate so you can overbalance. Its primarily an issue of watching Mr. Powell go through their paces fashionably whenever you are a big shed out of stars and actresses give your standard service. Evelyn Keyes performs the favorable nothing woman which brings about new best in your and you may Ellen Received is the easy and you will slinky vixen whom becomes your towards jams. Thomas Gomez are oily since the villain and Lee J. Cobb really does a different in a position journey just like the an exhausted cops inspector whom eventually shuts the way it is. A great deal of ingesting and you may smoking is accomplished by all of the worried.” [ several ]
